The Liar's Diary

When the dynamic new high school music teacher, Ali Mather arrives in town, school secretary Jeanne Cross, grudgingly at first, befriends her, for this enchanting Ali embodies everything that Jeanne wishes she could be--open, honest and vibrant.

There are deaths. There is intrigue, confusion and dismay. Every time I thought for sure I had solved the age old question of "whodunit", the author had me completely fooled, right up until practically the last page!

The Liar's Diary is a quick page turner combining chick lit, mystery and suspense. I promise you won't be able to put it down. And if you figure out who's lying before page 285 (out of 309), then consider me duly impressed!

This review brought to you by MotherTalk.

Did I pique your curiosity? Well, you're in luck, because I'm giving a copy of this novel away for my Book Giveaway #4! Just leave a comment under THIS post and you're entered to win!

The winner's name will be drawn (out of one of the numerous Boston sports caps cluttering the Trenches) on Saturday, March 8th.

I'm in! Please don't run the draw out of a Bruins cap, though. I'm such a Sabres fan it would totally spoil my chances of winning!

Count me in - I haven't heard of this book, but it sounds like a good one to keep in the car for those piano lesson waiting sessions and the baseball practice holdouts!
