WedgEZ *Updated with Winner!

*Congrats to Mom of 5! She wins a WedgEZ. Not to be confused with a wedgie, of course.

For those of us with young children, childproofing is a necessary evil. We have all done it in some way, shape or form. Probably one of the most common childproofing items are outlet covers. You know the ones. The ones that STICK (and then remain STUCK) in the socket so well, that when you need to utilize the outlet to have your husband vacuum, you inevitably break a nail trying to remove it. It's either that or else risk electrocution by trying to wedge the vacuum cord plug behind the cover to pop it out. Am I right?
Well, Dave Miglin and his wife Karen have come up with a solution. Called WedgeEZ, it's a small plastic tool designed to remove those outlet plug covers with ease. And with built-on clips, it can attach easily to your vacuum cord, so it's available whenever you need it (and more importantly, for me anyway, you'll always remember where you left it).

Does it work? You betcha! This handy little tool is certainly one of those creations to be filed under Now Why Didn't I Think Of That?
